This secluded 16th-century tower, located just outside of Edinburgh, is more than just a filming location though — it’s a place where time seems to stand still, where the whispers of the past echo through its ancient stone walls. Now, you have the rare opportunity to exchange vows in the very place that captured the hearts of Outlander fans around the world.

While our Midhope Castle elopements are not affiliated with Outlander, we know that for many couples, this setting holds deep meaning.
Whether you’ve fallen in love with Scotland through the pages of Diana Gabaldon’s novels or the Outlander STARZ TV Series (or maybe your own ancestral ties) this experience allows you to weave your own chapter into the story of Midhope.
Imagine saying “I do” on the castle steps, the archway made famous in the TV series or even inside the castle.
Whether it’s just the two of you or a small gathering of loved ones (maximum 12 guests) this is a place where romance is at its most raw and real.

- Time for your ceremony and photos at lots of different filming locations around the castle
- You will arrange your own suppliers (such as celebrant, accommodation and make up) but we will support you all the way
Exclusive use (after visitor hours or out of season) can be arranged by us for an additional £400
Lallybroch + Glencoe
£5,500
- The Ultimate Outlander-inspired elopement or vow renewal
- Up to 2 hours photography at Midhope Castle followed the next day with a Highland Glencoe Photoshoot
- Exclusive use of Midhope and the surrounding grounds (after visitor hours or out of season)
- You will arrange your own suppliers (such as celebrant, accommodation and make up) but we will support you all the way

What is the deposit?
Our deposits are 25% of the package chosen. Your date is secured upon payment of deposit.
Why are your prices “from”?
Every elopement is different. Some require additional planning whilst others may require overnight stays.
Do we need to be adventurous?
Nope — your elopement wedding can be as adventurous as you want it to be.
Are taxes included in the price?
All prices on the website are excluding VAT at 20%. Our VAT registration number is 464039687.
