The morning
You wake up at the Witchery.
Hair and makeup comes to your suite. Your flowers are already there.
The elopement
Then we head out with you.
Your celebrant has written your ceremony around the two of you, legal or symbolic. Then we walk the city with you and find the light.
If the weather turns, we change the plan. We know where to go when it rains, and Jodie has the hairspray.
The evening
At the end of it, you go back to your suite.
Your gallery and film arrive within two weeks. You’re our priority.

Add a Day in Glencoe
Make it two days for £16,500. Your elopement in Edinburgh, then a day in the mountains with us later in the week. We pick you up in Edinburgh and bring you back.
The price includes two nights, both at the Witchery around your elopement. Your other nights are yours to arrange, and we’ll recommend where to stay.

- Two nights in a suite at the Witchery, the night before and the night of your elopement
- Hair and makeup in your suite on the morning
- A celebrant who can marry you legally or keep it symbolic
- Dried flowers: a bouquet and a buttonhole. Prefer fresh? Just ask.
- Both of us photographing and filming
- Planning, every booking made by us, and help with the rest of your trip
- Getting around on the day: we walk, and taxis are on us
- We can be your witnesses

- Your travel to Scotland
- Meals and drinks
- Extra nights and your guests’ rooms
- The registrar’s fees, if you marry legally
- Visa costs
- Fees for any location that charges one
What you’ll receive
A hand-edited gallery, and a film set to your vows and music, usually between 6 and 12 minutes long. Both arrive within two weeks. You’re our priority.
All prices include VAT.
Booking
Reserve your date online, or talk to us first. Either is fine.
Your date with us is secured the moment you pay your deposit. Within 48 hours we confirm your suite, hair and makeup, celebrant and flowers, and send you every confirmation. Book your flights once your suite is confirmed.
If the Witchery is full on your date, we’ll talk you through the alternatives, and nothing goes ahead without your say-so. If none of them feel right, we refund you in full.
Available any month except August and December. Weekdays, plus weekends from November to March. Not on Valentine’s Day or bank holidays.
Questions
Can we bring guests?
Yes, up to 10. They book their own rooms, and we’ll send you a list of hotels we recommend.
Can we get legally married?
Yes. You’ll need to give notice to the registrar yourselves, and our legal timeline tool shows you when.
Why dried flowers?
They travel well, and they don’t wilt in the wind and rain. In Edinburgh we can arrange fresh flowers instead if you’d prefer.
Can we stay longer?
Yes. We’ll add extra nights at the hotel’s rate.
Can we come up from London?
Yes. It’s about four and a half hours on the train to Edinburgh Waverley, and the Witchery is a short walk from the station.
Are you paid by the hotel?
No. We’re not affiliated with the Witchery or any supplier we book, and we don’t take commission.
