Before You Even Book
We start with a proper chat. Not a sales call. A real conversation over a video call where we get to know each other. We want to make sure we’re a good fit – that you like our weird sense of humour, that we understand your vision, that you don’t think we’re complete wallies (British word for…idiot).
No pressure, no hard sell. If we’re not right for each other, we’ll tell you. We’ve even recommended other photographers when we weren’t the best match. This is your elopement – it needs to be right.
Once You’ve Booked (25% Deposit Secures Your Date)
The planning really begins. This isn’t just photography – it’s complete elopement support. We become your Scotland experts, your planning partners, your mild therapists, and eventually, your photographers.
Location Scouting That Actually Helps
We don’t just send you a Pinterest board of pretty places. We actually recommend a spot that is perfect for you. And if we don’t know one, we will find one.
- What matters to YOU (dramatic mountains? Cozy forests? Castle vibes?)
- Your fitness level (there’s no shame in not wanting to hike)
- Where the crowds won’t be – this changes by season, day, even hour. Fun Fact: Did you know Midhope Castle is busier in the mornings as it is the first stop for the coach tours on their way to The Highlands? That’s the sort of level of detail we go in to.

Why 80-120 Images is Actually MORE, Not Less

Most photographers operate on volume. They’ll shoot 3,000 images, quickly cull to 500, run them through a preset, and deliver them all. It takes them maybe 4-5 hours total post-wedding.
We operate completely differently.
We shoot maybe 1,200 images. We cull ruthlessly to 80-120. But here’s the key: we then spend 20-30 HOURS editing your gallery. That’s 15-20 minutes PER IMAGE.
